1930 Census lists William (49), living at 297 Park Ave, with wife Elizabeth (44), and 6 sons. Also living with them William's mother-in-law Josephine Walters (60). William's occup: Laborer in Lace Mill. Owned home, value $6,000.

Birth Note:    No birth record is available, Kansas did not issue birth certificates at that time.

Lived in W-B, probably all his life.

Carl attended St. Nicholas School, Wilkes-Barre.
He was employed by W-B Lace Mill for 25 years. Later he was a driver for the former O'Malia laundry, W-B, for 25 years. He worked in the maintenance department of the W-B Housing Authority for 10 years. He also was employed by the former Dresden Catering, W-B. He was a member of St. Boniface Church, W-B; its Holy Name Society; Knights of St. George; and St. Conrad's Society.

I have copy of Carl's obituary. Times-Leader, Monday July 21, 1997.
