Mrs. Elizabeth Martin, 73, of 230 Parrish Street, passed away last night at 9:30 at her home following an illness.
Mrs. Martin was the widow of Frank Martin, who died eight years ago. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, June 5, 1874, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Hughes Kline. She was a member of St. Boniface's Church.
Surviving are the following children: Frank Jr., James, Donald, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, all of Wilkes-Barre; John and Henry, New York City; also these sisters: Mrs. Lena Krachenfels, Miss Ruth Kline, Mrs. Agnes Rickard, Mrs. Rose McCall, all of Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Margaret Krachenfels, of Georgetown; also 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the home Monday morning at 9 with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Boniface's Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
