He was a member of the 109th Field Artillery, and Private in the US Army.
No children.
Apparently Thomas' middle name was Kline, because some children were given their mother's surname as a middle name to perpetuate the family name.
Obituary states he died in Deshon Army Hospital in Butler PA, after a long illness.
