Mrs. Jennie Mehm Dies at Family Home
Mrs. Jennie Mehm, wife of Charles A. Mehm, Sr., and life-long resident of Wilkes-Barre, died yesterday morning at 4:15 at her home, 337 Park Avenue, following an illness of three months.
She was an active member of St. Nicholas Church and the following societies: Third Order of St. Francis, Alter and Rosary Society, Ladies Aid and the Catholic Women's Union.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by these children: Harold and Charles Jr., Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Jean Dowey, Middletown; Mrs. Jeanette Zamaites, Hyannis, Mass.; Mrs. Mary Pahler, Wilkes-Barre; sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Martin, Mrs, Margaret Krackenfels, Mrs Grace McCarthy, Mrs. Rose McCall, Mrs. Agnes Rickard and Ruth Kline; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from funeral home, 227 South Washington Street, Wednesday at 9:15 with solemn requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Nicholas Church. Interment will be in parrish cemetery, Shavertown.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and Tuesday from 7 to 10.
Following societies will meet at the funeral home to recite the rosary: Ladies Aid, Monday 8; Third Order of St. Francis, Tuesday 7; Catholic Women's Union, Tuesday 8; Alter and Rosary Society, Tuesday 8:30.

Was living at 173 Holland Street when son Peter was born in December 1900.
Occupation listed as laborer on son Peter's birth certificate, (Recorded: Dec. 2, 1900).

They were living at 349 McLean Street when son Manus was born in September 1908.

They were living at that address in 1910 per Census.

In 1912 his occupation was listed as "laborer".
He was living in Wilkes-Barre in 1917 per his mother Sarah's obituary.

The Times Leader Friday, April 16, 1937
Andrew J. Mulherin Sr, 58, died last night at 7:17 o'clock in Mercy Hospital. For several months he had been ill at the family home, 109 Spruce Street, being admitted to the hospital at 11:15 yesterday morning.
Mr. Mulherin had been in the employ of the Lehigh Valley Railroad Company for 35 years, serving for a long time as a trainman and conductor.He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and of St. Leo's Church in Ashley.
He was born in the Newtown section of the city, son of the late Peter and Sarah Ruddy Mulherin. He married Theresa Gallagher.
Surviving are his widow: children: Peter and Mrs. Mary Klinges, city; Andrew Jr., New York City; Manus and Sarah home; brothers and sisters: Thomas, city; Peter, Jersey City, N.J.; Mary, city; Agnes, Sharon; Mrs. J.J. Gildea, city; seven grandchildren.

The Times Leader Monday, April 19, 1937
A number of members of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and many friends attended the funeral this morning at 9 o'clock from the family home, 109 Spruce Street, of Andrew J. Mulherin Sr., an employee for 35 years of the Lehigh Valley Railroad.
Requiem mass was conducted at 9:30 o'clock by Rev. J.J. Heffernan in St. Leo's Church, Ashley. There were numerous floral tokens. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township with benediction by Rev. J.R. Burnet.
Flower carriers were John Kirk, James Caverly, Bernard McGroarty and Clem Covalesky. Pall bearers were: Andrew and John Ruddy, James Mulherin, Daniel Brolley, Jack Morio and Thomas Sheridan.

(I found a "Company Row Street" in the 1910 Census. Could be the same street.) (Not sure about this information, his family was living on Spruce Street when he was one year old).
