1900 Census shows Andreas and wife Katharine living at 236 Park Avenue, with four children and sister-in-law Elizabeth Diehl (a single person, 40 years old. Occupation listed as Servant). Andreas' occupation listed as laborer in coal mine. Immigrated to the U.S. in 1879. 6 months out of work at time of Census.
Owned his home free and clear.

1910 Census shows Andrew Grieshaber and wife Catherina living at 236 Park Ave.
(Across the street from Charles Mehm). Occupation listed here as quarry laborer. Four children living at home. Immigrated to the U.S. in 1880. Also Naturalized. Number of years married listed as 25.
In 1910 Census, a woman was listed as living with Andrew and Catherina named Elizabeth Diehl. She is listed as Andrew's sister-in-law. (Probably Catherina's sister). Her age is listed as 50, born in Germany, and Immigrated to the U.S. in 1881. (Catherina's maiden name may be Diehl).
Andreas was living on Park Avenue in 1913. He was a member of St. Nicholas Church.

1930 Census lists Andrew (65), living at 236 Park Ave. with wife Catherine (72), son Richard (30), and son Charles( 14). Andrew, Catherine, Richard born Germany, Charles born PA.
Antdrew owned home, value $2000. Retired. Andrew immigrated to US in 1880, Naturalized.

Andrew was living at 236 Park Avenue, when he died in 1937, following a heart attack.

Andrew Grieshaber, 73, died yesterday shortly before noon at his home, 236 Park Avenue following a heart attack. He was a member of St. Nicholas' German Catholic Church.
He is survived by three sons: Frederick at home, John of Wilkes-Barre and Bernard of Albany, NY. He also leaves nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 from the home, with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Nicholas Church. Interment will be in the family plot of the church cemetery, Shavertown.

     Came over from Baden, (Germany) in 1872. Arrived in New York with her sister Agatha on May 20, 1872.

Teresa's age listed as 48 in 1900 Census.
Her mother and father were born in Germany.
At this time she was the mother of eight children, all living at home.

She was living at 261 Parrish Street when she died in 1913. (per obituary).
She died while attending church services at St. Nicholas.
I have a copy of Theresa's obituary.

     Name spelled as "Suppley" in 1880 Census.
1880 Census lists Fred's occupation as Laborer.
At this time he was living on Hill Street in Wilkes-Barre with his wife Theresa and their three children Lena, Agatha and Anna. Fred's father Xavier was also living with them, and his two brothers Frank and Matthias. (No house numbers were listed at that time.)

Year of Immigration to the U.S. listed as 1872 in 1900 Census.
He was listed as a naturalized citizen.
His father and mother were both born in Germany.
In 1900, he and Teresa were living at 162 Holland Street in Wilkes-Barre, with their eight children. Four daughters and four sons.
Fred's occupation listed as Wholesale House Watchman in 1900.
His house was listed as owned free and clear.

Year of Immigration to the U.S. listed as 1871 in 1910 Census.
Age listed as 69 which would make him born about 1841. (Pretty close).

FRED K. SUPPLEE, Sr.
The funeral of Fred K. Supplee Sr., who died at 1:30 yesterday afternoon at the family home, 261 Parrish Street, will be held Friday morning at 8:45. A high mass of requiem will be celebrated at 9:30 in St. Nicholas Church, and interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Supplee is survived by the following children: Mrs. Martin Hochrieter, Mrs. Edward Scott, Agnes, Teresa, Charles, Fred, Harry and Peter, all of this city.

Birth Note:    1880 Census states Fred was born in Bavaria. Also his father and mother.
