Obituary
W-B Record Friday July 21, 1933
Mrs. Catherine Grieshaber, 75, a well known and highly respected German resident of this city, died yesterday morning at her home, 236 Park Avenue, following several week's illness of complications. Had she lived until next February Mrs. Grieshaber and her husband Andrew would have celebrated their 50th golden wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Grieshaber was born in Hessen, Darmstadt, Germany, and came to this country 52 years ago, settling in Wilkes-Barre. She was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Church and for years was active in it's various societies. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Frederick and John Grieshaber of this city and Bernard Grieshaber of Albany, New York.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 from her late home. A solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Nicholas Church at 10:30. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Nicholas Church Cemetery at Shavertown.
