Frank J. Weis, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday in Glen Rock, N.J.
Born in 1908, he was the son of the late William A. and Elizabeth (Forve) Weis. He was a graduate of Coughlin High School and Cornell Univ. He worked for the NY Telephone Company for 40 years.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, the former Elizabeth Fischer; brothers Carl, Edward, George, and John; and sisters Loretta, Hilda, Emilie and Louise.
Surviving are his son Frank Jr. Glen Rock; daughter Barbara Schaaf, Franklin Lakes, NJ.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine's Church, Glen Rock. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Arrangements are by the David Feeney Funeral Home, Glen Rock.

I found an Edward P. Weis, listed in May 14, 1950 St. Nick's Messenger as celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on June 17. Married to Ann D. Gelsleichter. Living at 135 Third Ave. Kingston. (Not sure if this is the same Edward.)
