     1870 Census for Carbon County lists Michael, age 17, born Scotland, living in Banks Township with his parents and siblings.

1910 Census lists Michael age 57 living at 29 Cummiskey Street, with wife Ellen (45), son Michael (19), son Patrick (16), son Cornellius (14), daughter Helen (13) and daughter Agnes (8). Michael and Ellen married 24 years. Michael born Scotland, occup: laborer in mines.
Immigrated in 1864, he was naturalized.

He was living in Wilkes-Barre in 1917 per Sarah's obituary.

He was living in Montana in 1917 per Sarah's obituary.
Francis Ruddy is buried in same plot with sister Sarah Ruddy and Peter Mulherin.
Maybe never married.

Obituary:
Wilkes-Barre Record, Tuesday, March 19, 1940

Francis Ruddy died yesterday afternoon at Hazleton State Hospital after a lingering illness. Mr. Ruddy spent most of his life in the West, but resided at Hazleton for the last 20 years.
Mr. Ruddy is survived by a brother, William Ruddy of Hanover Township, and several nieces and nephews of this city.
Funeral will be held from 689 Hazle Street Wednesday at 9 with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Leo's Church, Ashley. Internment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover.

Funeral notice:
Wilkes-Barre Record, Thurs. March 21, 1940.
Francis Ruddy, who died in Hazleton State Hospital, was buried yesterday morning from 689 Hazle Street, with many friends and relatives attending the funeral.
A requiem mass was celebrated in St. Leo's Church, Ashley, by the pastor, Rev. J.J. Hefferan. Rev. Smith, Scranton, was seated in the sanctuary.
Bearers were Patrick and Manus Mulhern, Martin Lavin, Henry Flynn, Daniel Finnegan and George Holliday. Internment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover, where benediction was pronounced by Rev. Harold Mulrooney.

     1870 Census for Carbon County lists Ellen, age 12, born Scotland, living in Banks Township with her parents and siblings.

Found an Ellen Ruddy in 1880 census living at 71 E. Market Street in Wilkes-Barre. A single girl, age listed as 21. Occupation listed as servant, living with Phebia Leaycock, a widow. Place of birth listed as Scotland. This could very well be this Ellen Ruddy. Only age difference of about 2 years. Ellen actually born 1857.
She was living in Wilkes-Barre in 1917 per Sarah's obituary.

Wilkes-Barre Record, June 13, 1930

Mrs. Ellen Youngblood Dies
Mrs. Ellen Youngblood, age 70, died at 6:45 yesterday morning at Mercy
hospital following an illness of complications. Mrs. Youngblood, the
daughter of Andrew and Mary Ruddy, was born in Scotland and came to America
at an early age, the family making their home at Audenreid. Deceased was a
resident of Wilkes-Barre for fifty years.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Youngblood, well known retired
police officer, and two brothers Francis and William, both of this city.
The funeral will be held on Saturday morning from the home, 46 Birch
street. A solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Mary's
church at 10. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
