Obituary:

Wilkes-Barre Record, Wednesday, July 9, 1930
Joseph Youngblood
Joseph Youngblood, aged 70, an esteemed resident of this city, died on
Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 at the home, 46 Birch street, city, following an
illness of complications.
Mr. Youngblood was born in this city and had resided here all his life.
Deceased served in the Wilkes-Barre fire department for six years and was
later transferred to the police department where he served faithfully until a
number of years ago. Particularly sad is Mr. Youngblood's death in that his
wife died one month ago. He is survived by a sister, Katherine.

     Note:   Nellie lived and died at Claudy House.

Individual Note:
     Nellie was a teacher in 1953.
Nellie had 14 pregnancies, but only four children lived.
She lived in Claudy House. The family has sold Claudy House, and it has since been torn down and a new home built there.
Nellie was the last resident of Claudy House.

Death Note:    If Nellie was married to a man named ????? Arnold, she died on 26 August, 1978 at the age of 70, per Fran Klinges.
