     Jeanette was born at home, per aunt Mary Pahler's notes.
Walter and Jeanette had no children. They lived in Hyannis, Cape Cod, Mass. for many years.

Following is Jeanette's obituary, published in October 19, 1998, The Citizen's Voice newspaper:

Jeanette ZAMITES, East South Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
She was born Feb. 3, 1916, in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Kline Mehm.
Mrs. Zamites resided in Hyannis, Mass., for 30 years before returning to Wilkes-Barre.
Her husband, Walter, died Feb. 26. Brothers Charles, Harold, and John, and sisters Mary Pahler and Jean Dowey, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Thursday at 10 from John W. Frank Funeral Home, 124 S. Grant St., Wilkes-Barre, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in Holy Trinity Church. The Rev. Joseph Streit will officiate. Interment will be in parish cemetery, Bear Creek. Friends may call Wednesday, 7 to 9. Christian Wake Service will be held Wednesday night.
