J. Supplee, Bernard

Bernard J. Supplee of Holland Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born March 24, 1925 in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Fred and Anna Lisman Supplee. He was a graduate of GAR High School and served in the U.S. Army. He had been employed many years as the Parts Manager by Superior Motors in both Nanticoke and Kingston. After leaving Superior Motors, he was employed as a clerk at Wilkes-Barre City Hall in the building permit office until his retirement in 1987.

He was a member of St. Boniface Church, Blackman Street, Wilkes-Barre, and also was a member of the Swoyersville American Legion.

He was predeceased by brothers, Leroy and Harold Supplee.

Surviving are brother, Joseph Supplee, of Spiceberry, Va.; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Lisman Funeral Home Inc., 233 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Boniface Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends may call today from 7-9 p.m.
