     1880 Census lists Philipine living at 160 Wells Street with husband Lewis, and children Carrie, Lewis, Katy and Helen. Also living with them, Catherine Kline, Philipine's mother. Age 65. Catherine born Bavaria.

Age listed as 51 in 1900 Census.

Death of Mrs. Philopena Mehm
At the family home, 237 South Welles Street, occurred the death of Mrs. Philopena Mehm, yesterday morning after a short illness of a complication of diseases, aged 58 years. She was born in Germany and came to this city a number of years ago. Her husband, Louis Mehm, died several years ago. She was a devout member of St. Nicholas Church and she leaves many friends to mourn her demise.
The following children survive: Mrs. Carrie O'Rourke, Louise, Catherine, Mrs. Bruce Titus and Anna, also two brothers, John and Matthew Klein. The funeral will be held on Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the home. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at St. Nicholas Church at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in Darling Street cemetery.

Residing in Wilkes-Barre at time of marriage.
Residence listed as 156 Hill Street at time of son Clemen's birth (1904).

Draft registration card lists his employer as Hazard Mfg. Co. occupation Wire Drawer.

1920 Census lists Louis Mehm age 45, living at what looks like 319 South Hancock Street.
Occup: Laborer in a wire mill. Wife, Agnes age 44, born in PA. Son Clemens, age 15, and daughter, looks like Edith, age 12. (Hard to read.) Children born in PA.

1930 Census lists Lewis living at 319 Dana Street with wife Agnes (52), son Clemont (25), single, and daughter Edith (22), single. Says both Lewis and Agnes married at age 26. Lewis born PA, both parents born Germany. Lewis' occup: Laborer in Wire Works. He owned home, value $1000.

1930 Census lists Agnes (52), living at 319 Dana Street with Lewis, son Clemont (25), and daughter Edith (22). Says both Lewis and Agnes married at age 26. Her parents born PA.

1930 Census lists Clemont (25), single, living at 319 Dana Street with parents and sister Agnes.
Occup: Clerk in Shoe Store.
Found a Clement Mehm in St. Mary's Cemetery records, Hanover Township.
Date of burial: Jan. 10, 1939. This must be him. Buried Section 1, Grave #14.
